The Truth About Living Out Loud

Living your truth isn’t as easy as we make it out to be.
It isn’t sunshine and rainbows all the time.
It doesn’t look like being a zen-master-yoga soul all the time or like posed Instagram pics from our travels.

Living your truth requires discomfort and fear.

It involves questioning whether you can actually show up in the world the way you want to.
It commands sitting with the internal struggle between wanting to be accepted and wanting to be yourself.

Living your truth is stressful sometimes, but it is also the only way to achieve true freedom.

Living out what is true to you will look different than what it looks like for any other living person.

It means you have to spend the time with yourself to know what living true means to you.
It means you have to recognize your values and choose a life as in-line with them as possible.
It means you have to decide to sit with your discomfort and show up as you anyways.

Part of the beauty of life is that we are awarded the opportunity to explore the highest version of ourselves.

Your desire to live true to yourself is core to your human experience.

Love yourself for it.
Embrace yourself for it.

Live out the truest version of yourself without sorry.

Choose to live out loud despite the discomfort.
Choose to put the quirkiest parts of you on blast despite fear of abandon.
Choose to show up as no one less than the greatest version of you day-in and day-out.

Because in the end, the only person responsible for your legacy is you.
